A homeowner in Dixfield, Maine contacted Radon Maine & Water Treatment after a radon test showed elevated levels of radon gas. Since they were selling the house, they needed to install a radon mitigation system. Our radon installers conducted a communication test initially to assess feasibility. However, the test revealed that suction under the slab was not possible. We recommended an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) as the optimal solution, offering fresh air supply, humidity control, and balanced air pressure. The client was pleased with the service provided.
A client in Boothbay, Maine called in to check the options on how to mitigate radon. Maine Radon & Water Treatment went to the site for inspection and testing. Upon assessment, the resident has an inaccessible crawl space and restricted slab accessibility. We offered an Energy Recovery Ventilator. After final testing, it was identified that the radon levels were reduced.
This is a follow-up service to one of the homeowners in Boothbay, Maine. This is a slightly unusual setup. The house is five stories with three separate crawl spaces and two sump pumps. We already had the house tested before and the results came back with elevated levels that are dangerous for the health. A Radon mitigation system was not advisable for the space. So after the site visit and inspection by our radon experts, we advised the client to install EVR instead. We initially installed 2 units a few months before and since the radon levels are still significantly high, we installed a 3rd unit. The caretaker was present during the installation and we left two test kits and adjusted the previous units we installed.
A client in Damariscotta, Maine reached out to Maine Radon & Water Treatment and inquired about improving the air quality at home. We quickly responded and inspected the home for a recommended solution. We found out that the residence has limited slab accessibility where active soil depressurization is not practical. Installation of ERV started and went perfectly. Another home is safe from risks. If you believe that your home needs the same solution, do not hesitate to call us for a free estimate.
Clients basement kept flooding. After a throughout inspection we were able to locate a crushed sump hole. This job we decided to install a super sump with alarm. Clients will never have water issues anymore.
