After installing a radon in air mitigation system, the client also wanted to ensure their water was safe from this dangerous gas.
A homeowner in Durham, Maine, reached out to Maine Radon & Water Treatment to improve their indoor water quality. We began with a thorough water quality test to determine the best approach. The results showed a radon level of 15,629 pCi/L, significantly higher than Maine's maximum exposure guideline of 4,000 pCi/L.
After evaluating the situation, we chose to install the ALRaider 321-S50X Radon in Water Removal System. RadonAway 321 AIRaider™ models combine spray and diffused bubble aeration to eliminate up to 95% of radon from water, including a built-in off delay for the aeration cycle. The system features an UL listed control panel, repressurization pump wire, mounted solenoid valves, ¾” Quick Connect plumbing connection, 2" x 3" flexible coupling, and an auto shutoff valve/alarm.
The result? Fresh, clean water straight from the tap every time. The client was there during the installation and was very pleased with how everything turned out.
