A homeowner in Oxford, Maine, contacted Maine Radon & Water Treatment for assistance with improving their indoor water quality. We began by conducting water quality tests to identify the best solution.
We then cleaned and serviced the existing water treatment system. A rebuild kit was also used to enhance the system's performance. The tests showed signs of high mineral content in the water, which is affecting the system. We found debris in the tank, indicating it would need draining and cleaning during the next maintenance visit.
In addition, we replaced the leaking pressure switch to ensure smooth operation. The system is now running at a flow rate of 6.9 gallons per minute and is functioning well.
